HAG provides supply chain certainty to global industrial equipment manufacturers. Our exclusive worldwide production network of suppliers provides ample capacity for manufacturing line-ready metal components. HAG provides tailored solutions to fulfill the complicated requirements of your production process. We streamline your supply chain by combining metal goods with a diverse set of engineering, logistics, and value-added services. It's no surprise that the world's major heavy-equipment manufacturers prefer to work with HAG for their metal product needs.
After two decades of growth and innovation, HAG is now a leading provider of line-ready metal components. Our origin narrative, steady growth, and global collaborations all help to shape who we are today. HAG was created in Spring Lake, Michigan, in 2004 when industrial metal product manufacture moved overseas to address ongoing North American foundry capacity decreases. HAG immediately developed supplier quality and engineering teams in China to ensure that quality, delivery, and competitiveness objectives were met from the start. During the first few years, HAG concentrated on gray iron counterweights for forklift trucks and other large mobile equipment. However, by the beginning of the next decade, HAG had expanded into new areas such as construction, forestry, and CNC machine tool manufacture, fast becoming one of the top importers of varied metal components in the US.

Along with seasoned investment partners, HAG started strategic measures to diversify its customer base, extend sourcing operations, and add value-added services to its existing comprehensive metal product procurement offering. HAG purchased Industrial Paint Solutions in Northern Ireland, a long-time provider of VMI and industrial coatings services, in late 2021, expanding the company's presence in storage and finish painting. A year later, HAG purchased Accucam Machining in Ontario, Canada, and Qingdao, China, expanding the company's value-added services to include precise machining of complicated steel castings and other manufactured components. In addition to its Michigan headquarters, HAG today has sourcing and quality assurance operations in China, India, and Vietnam, as well as finishing machining operations in Ontario, Canada and Qingdao, China.
